Until July 2011 Peter was chief executive officer of the Broadcast Equality and Training Regulator. Now, as a lead partner at all about talent, he develops tools and services for the company’s clients. Prior to that he managed a global department in the Business Consulting Services division of IBM. He held several posts in PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting including that of principal consultant in the entertainment and media practice. He is a governor and visiting research fellow in media management at the University of Hertfordshire where he is conducting research for his PhD on UK Government skills policy.
Peter began his career as a trainee at Thames Television. He went on to be owner/manager of three production companies specialising in location recording, computer graphics and post-production. He established and managed bachelor’s and master’s degree courses in media management at West Herts College. His academic text, Managing in the Media, was written to support these programmes.
